StealthLynk, US ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PhotoLynk application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
PhotoLynk is a photo and video backup application that operates in three distinct modes:
When using Local or Remote modes, all data remains on servers you own and control. StealthLynk, US does not have access to, collect, or store your photos, videos, email address, password, device identifiers, or any file metadata.
You are solely responsible for the security, maintenance, and backup of your self-hosted server and all data stored thereon.
When using StealthCloud mode, we collect and process:
Important: All media files and metadata are encrypted on your device using industry-standard encryption (XSalsa20-Poly1305) before transmission. StealthLynk, US stores only encrypted data and does not possess the decryption keys. We cannot access, view, or decrypt your files.
When you make in-app purchases, we collect and process:
Purchase receipts are verified with Apple or Google to prevent fraud and ensure legitimate transactions. We do not store your payment card information — all payment processing is handled by the respective app store platforms according to their privacy policies.
Transaction records, including purchase amounts, dates, and certification service usage, are retained for accounting, tax compliance, and customer support purposes.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
PhotoLynk does not modify, alter, or change any metadata (EXIF data, creation date, location information, camera settings, etc.) of your photos or videos. Your files are stored exactly as they exist on your device, preserving all original properties and metadata intact.
Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). We use RevenueCat for subscription management. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services.
For Local and Remote modes, data retention is entirely under your control. For StealthCloud mode, encrypted data is retained while your subscription is active, plus a grace period after expiration. Upon account deletion, all associated encrypted data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STEALTHLYNK, US SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE.
FOR LOCAL AND REMOTE MODES: You are solely responsible for your self-hosted server infrastructure, all data stored on your server, server security, maintenance, and backups. StealthLynk, US has no access to, control over, or responsibility for your server or data. StealthLynk, US is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or security breaches on your server.
FOR STEALTHCLOUD MODE: StealthLynk, US stores only encrypted data and cannot access your files. You are solely responsible for maintaining your account credentials. Loss of your credentials may result in permanent loss of access to your data. StealthLynk, US is not liable for data loss due to encryption key loss or service interruptions due to force majeure events.
StealthLynk, US shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, epidemics, pandemics, power outages, telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or third-party service provider failures.
IN ANY EVENT, STEALTHLYNK'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO STEALTHLYNK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100.00).
Summary: For Local/Remote modes, your data stays on your server—we have no access. For StealthCloud, we store only encrypted data we cannot decrypt. We are not liable for data loss in any mode. Use at your own risk and maintain your own backups.
